At Deering Painting, we are committed to providing high-quality residential and commercial painting services, both interior and exterior. Your satisfaction is extremely important to us, and we work hard to ensure every project meets your expectations. This refund policy outlines our practices regarding cancellations, workmanship issues, and changes to service scope.
1. Deposits and Scheduling

A deposit may be required to schedule painting services. This secures your place in our calendar and covers project preparation.

Deposits are non-refundable if the project is canceled with less than 72 hours’ notice.

If cancellation occurs more than 72 hours in advance, deposits may be refunded or credited toward a rescheduled service at our discretion.
2. Workmanship Guarantee

We stand behind the quality of our work. If you are not satisfied with the final result, please contact us within 7 days of project completion.

If the concern is due to a workmanship issue, we will return to correct it at no additional cost.

No refunds will be issued for projects where:

The work meets industry standards and was completed as agreed upon

The complaint is based on subjective preferences after approval of colors or finishes

3. Scope Changes and Color Revisions

Changes made after the project begins (e.g., adding rooms, switching paint colors) may result in additional charges.

Refunds are not provided for completed work under the original agreement if preferences change after paint is applied.

We strongly recommend testing and approving paint colors in advance.
4. Custom Materials and Paint Purchases

Paint and materials ordered specifically for your project are non-refundable once purchased.

If a project is canceled after materials have been acquired, you may be billed for the cost of those items.
5. Delays and Weather Conditions

Exterior projects may be delayed due to weather conditions. We will reschedule as soon as possible.

Refunds are not issued for delays beyond our control, but any deposit will be honored for the new date.
6. Final Walkthrough and Approval

Upon completion, we offer a final walkthrough with the client to ensure satisfaction.

Once final approval is given and the balance is paid, no refunds will be issued.
